Bringing you a low FODMAP Fourth, filled with gut friendly faring food.
A GUTALICIOUS twist on the patriotic holiday. I know being on a protocol or program over a holiday can make you feel deprived & give you a bad case of FOMO so I wanted to make a menu that makes you a perky lil patriot.
It’s a slow carb, gluten free, dairy free, grain free menu with plenty of flavor for a festive 4th. Early means breakfast, later is lunch & late is dinner. Then of course you have sips for drinks, and sides are your side dishes.
THE REFRESH
Fourth of July Edition
Early: Cocobiotics with lowfodmap approved fruits like blueberries & strawberries to keep true to the festive spirit. For something heartier you can do the Prebiotic Paleo Waffles, topped with coconut whipped cream & berries!
Later/Late: Feast on Chick-Kabobs, bacon wrapped asparagus and a lettuce wrapped burger
Sides: Low FODMAP fruit like watermelon, blueberries & strawberries, grilled zucchini & squash, Cassava Chips with homemade low FODMAP guac.
Sips: Zevia, iced organic green tea with stevia or fruit infused BUBLY sparkling water, plus their cans are just so cute and #insta worthy.
There you have it gang, a tasty, easy REFRESH friendly menu that the whole family can get devour. We'll be playing games with family, BBQing and keeping Atreyu from going into cardiac arrest from fear of the fireworks!
