I had so many women who were scared to workout because they’d get GI flares, feel overly exhausted and a lot were actually gaining weight even though they were working out harder than ever!

I KNEW there had to be a better way. Women are being told by their doctor that to manage their PCOS they need to “WORK OUT HARDER AND EAT LESS” but that only creates more stress hormones, further damaging the microbiome and gut as well as creating really sad women filled with shame and guilt when it doesn’t work like they were told.

THE PROBLEM IS

It sounds counter-intuitive, but high intensity workouts for individuals with gut problems can create more problems than solutions: insulin resistance, adrenal fatigue and increased inflammation to name a few.

Intense workouts can create a perfect storm for flare ups that result in weight gain, increased bloating and discomfort.

The Body Refresh is a workout program specifically designed with this dilemma in mind.

The Body Refresh program is the culmination of years of research and testing, a first of its kind program that takes individuals with gut problems on a healing journey using specific, guided workouts. Co-created by a Physical Therapist assistant who when diagnosed with celiacs disease and IBS-c had to research what workouts would improve her health, decrease symptoms and give her the fitness results she was looking for.

She created this unique series of exercises as an effective and proven method for building lean muscle, reducing stress hormones and improving insulin response.

The Body Refresh workouts target individuals with gut, hormone and insulin issues. Metabolic movements are designed to help you:

  • Improve insulin response

    1. Control your weight

    2. Restore energy and mental clarity

    3. Eliminate inflammation

    4. Reduce bloating

    5. Open up detox pathways
