Gut Health Banana Bread
with Collagen
but+not+silent+(1).png
Adding a collagen supplement powder to what I'm baking is the easiest #GutHack that my gut —and my skin thank me for.
I wouldn’t be #TheGutGirl if I didn’t pay close attention to gut health because of the impact it has on my mood, digestion, immunity, and just about everything else.
But I'm interested in collagen's beauty benefits, too.
Collagen is probably most well-known for how it supports the skin, but as someone who has experienced postpartum hair loss, I care about how it supports my hair health.
I pay special attention to the quality and sourcing of foods and supplements I use. That's why I’m impressed with this collagen. It has 4 different sources of collagen including: grass-fed beef collagen, wild-caught fish collagen, chicken collagen and eggshell membrane collagen concentrate. Plus it has 19 grams of protein!
Includes types I, II, III, V, X.
I even mix it with my REPLENISH for a hydrating, protein filled pick-me-up.

Green Banana Flour
If you've done my Gut Refresh Program. You are well aware that green bananas are the ish when it comes to gut issues. They're full of prebiotic fiber to feed all your little love bugs & they're low FODMAP making them A OK for the REPLACE phase on the Gut Refresh.
Here's why you should add it into your diet stat!
Prebiotics: When your probiotics devour the resistant starch in green bananas they produce a short-chain fatty acid called butyrate. Butyrate is useful for the cells that line the colon because it keeps them healthy, even helping fight off cancerous cells!
Low Glycemic: Green Banana Flour is low glycemic which makes it pretty great for those watching their weight. It has even been shown to help with metabolic syndrome.
Insulin: Got insulin issues? The Butyrate that is produced has been shown to prevent and treat diet-induced insulin resistance.
Gluten Free: It make not seem like a product perk but finding a cooking flour that is good for the gut and gluten free is a blessing from above.
